Ecological standpoint

Our recuperation service of cedar clippings has permitted among other things the considerable reduction of trash put out by citizens, instead of being accumulated in public dump sites. Arbressence contributes to preserving the environment by reducing the quantity of green house gases emitted from this waste.

The foliage is used to extract its oil and the branches are transformed into cedar mulch with no added chemical agents or coloring. The distillation process is done under pressure with steam vapors, also with no added chemical agents. Finally, the distillation process permits the acceleration of the composting of the basic components creating  a compost of high quality and 100% natural.

In addition, we use less plastic bags in the transportation of the cedar clippings, and the smaller vehicules used for the pick-up service help in reducing the environmental footprint.
